"He has told you men what is good and what it is the Lord requires of you: Only to act justly, to love faithfulness, and to walk humbly with your God." Micah 6:8
Aug. 12, 2011 - A man of faith now walks in glory with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

A long-time member of First Baptist Church, Panama City, he served as a Sunday School teacher for more than 55 years, and as a Deacon and Chairman of Deacons.
He served in the U. S. Army Air Corps during 1944-46, and then attended Auburn University, graduating in 1950 with a B.S. degree in Engineering Physics.
Bob worked at the Naval Coastal Systems Laboratory for 28 years. He received a commendation from the Navy in 1971 for his service in Vietnam as Special Assistant to Commander, Naval Forces and Commander, Naval Advisory Group. He was also awarded commendations from the Secretary of the Navy for Naval Analyses, and received Navy Superior Performance Awards.
He served on the Board of Trustees of Gulf Coast Junior College, and as Chairman of the Board during 1969. He was active for many years in the Panama City Beach Rotary Club, serving as President during 1974-75, and later being made a Paul Harris Fellow.

If ever there were a man after whom we all could model our lives, it was Uncle "Skeets." A family man in every sense of the word, he was wonderfully caring and loving and had such a delightful sense of humor. We loved him and will miss him.
