Andrew Hearn, 32, of Panama City Beach, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 11, 2014 at a local hospital. Andrew served in the U.S. Army and was an avid Denver Broncos fan.

Andrew's greatest accomplishment was his son. He was his pride and joy. He didn't enjoy anything more than being Logan's daddy. He loved sports and was an avid Denver fan, football and basketball. He was a tee ball coach and couldn't wait to start coaching Logan's little league football. He enjoyed the beach; one of his proudest moments was when he taught Logan to swim. Andrew never met a stranger; everyone was an immediate lifelong friend. He was a huge practical joker and couldn't go a single day without making someone smile. His smile was contagious; he could light up a room. He loved bowling when he had time. Family and friends were everything to Andrew. He graduated Wurzburg Sr. High School in Germany. Andrew served in the United States Army. He spent 10 months in Iraq. He returned home in 2004, parted ways with the military and spent his remaining years in Panama City Beach.

Andrew is preceded in death by his grandmother, Carmen Hearn.

He is survived by his wife, Tia Hearn; son, Logan Andrew Hearn; parents, Stuart and Donna Hearn; his mother and father-in-law, Juanita and David Pippin of Sneads; his sister, Shannon Bachman (Ben) of Japan; a brother, Joshua Hearn, of Los Angeles, Calif.; his maternal grandparents Augusta and George Jordan of Colorado; his paternal great-grandmother, Louise Graham; four uncles, Ronny Jordan (Becky) of North Carolina, Ricky Jordan (Anna) of Sardinia, Italy, George Jordan, Jr. (Cindy) of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Allen Jordan, of Colorado Springs; paternal grandfather Jerry Hearn (Denise) of Bradenton, Fla.; two uncles, Steve Hearn (Suzanne) of Tampa, Fla., and Stan Hearn (Susan) of Seattle, Wash.; and a host of extended family members.

Funeral services will take place on Monday, Feb. 24, 2014 at 2 p.m. at St. Bernadette's Catholic Church. Entombment will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday, Feb. 23, 2014 from 6-8 p.m. at Kent Forest Lawn Funeral Home.
