Sylvia Edith, "Ouiser" Sims, 75, of Panama City Beach, passed away Tuesday, March 4, 2014.

Sylvia was born the daughter of Robert Angus and Lora Edwina Sims on Oct. 16, 1938.

She graduated with honors from Elon College with a Bachelor of Science degree. She was a trail blazing lady executive with IBM for many years.

Ouiser, as she was known to her friends, was the life of the party.

She is survived by her sister, Linda S. Bauer and her husband, Jeffrey A. Bauer; niece, Carolyn E. Fichtner and her husband, David; nephew, William S. Edwards; great nieces and nephews, Rachael and her husband, Mark, the twins, Ilga and Ina, and the triplets, Michael, Jonathan and Anne; and a host of other loving relatives and friends including her beloved poodles, Sandy, Princess and Oreo.
