Samuel Rhea Anderson, age 79, passed away on May 8, 2014 in Panama City Beach, Florida.

He was a member of St. Bernadette Catholic Church in Panama City Beach. He was in the United States Navy during the Korean conflict, retired Kentucky State Policeman and investigator for Masonic Homes of Kentucky. He was a dual member of St. Andrews Masonic Lodge #212 in Florida and Shelby Masonic Lodge #662 in Kentucky. He was a 33rd degree Scottish Rite Mason.

He was preceded in death by his parents John L. and Anna Gertrude Anderson, sister Dorothy Moran and brothers Junior Anderson and Charlie Anderson.

He is survived by wife Barbara G. Anderson; daughter Peggy Willard and son-in-law Arnold "Sandy" Willard; grandchildren Heather Roell, Andrew Willard, and Jacob Willard; and great- grandchildren Caden, Jett, Asher and Phoenix.

Visitation is 3:00-8:00pm Sunday, May 11, 2014 with a 6:30pm Masonic service and prayers at 7:00pm. Funeral services will be held Monday, May 12, 2014 at 10:00am at the Catholic Church of Annunciation. Burial is at the Grove Hill Cemetery.
