Jerry L. Chandler, 74, of Panama City, Fla., passed away Friday June 20, 2014, at his home.
Mr. Chandler is a former longtime member of Moose Lodge #1389 in Panama City, Fla. He loved fly fishing. Jerry retired from Lord and Son Construction in Ft. Walton Beach after 20 years of service.
Mr. Chandler is preceded in death by his father, Robert Porter Chandler, and brother, Ronnie Wayne Chandler.
He is survived by his loving wife, Janice Chandler; mother, Christine Hood, of Columbus, Ga.; children, Bobby D. Chandler of Panama City, Christina E. Hazeltine (Jeff) of Panama City, Fla., Susan Shallenberger of Panama City, Fla., Christy Downs of Panama City, Fla., and Michael Lancaster; brother Billy Zane Chandler (Judy) of St. Mary's, Ga.; thirteen grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday, June 28, 2014 from noon to 4 p.m. at Jerry's home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Covenant Hospice.
