Marx C. Detroy, 64, of Youngstown, Florida passed away Friday, June 20, 2014 at his residence.

Mr. Detroy moved to Panama City from Madison, Wisconsin. Marx has lived in Panama City for 7 years and is a member of Bayou George Christian Church in Youngstown.

He is survived by his loving wife Cherie Anne Detroy; mother Marjorie Detroy Rose of Madison, WI; four children Chris Lavallee of Juneau, AK, Brandy Shaddox of Branson, MO, Crystal Detroy of Anchorage, AK, and Eric Camp of Las Vegas, NV.; three sisters Mary Detroy of Pompano, FL, Linda Alexander of Blackhawk, CO, and Kathy Stachell of Atlanta, GA; two brothers Mike Detroy of San Antonio, TX and John Detroy of Pearland, TX.; nine grandchildren Donovan Camp, Ciera Camp, Peyton Camp, Hayden Bardwell, Marx Christian Shaddox, Larocco Shaddox, Asher Shaddox, Jeremiah Shaddox, and Alaziah Detroy.

Memorial service will be held 2:00 P.M. Sunday, July 6, 2014 at Bayou George Christian Church Rev. Hank Melton will be officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to Bayou George Christian Church 7814 Highway 2301 Youngstown, FL 32466.
