Ruth Lance Bordeaux, 73, of Panama City, passed away Saturday, June 28, 2014, at her home. Ruth was born in Fletcher, N.C., and lived in Panama City since 1974. She was a member of Northside Baptist Church, and enjoyed shopping, crossword puzzles and spending time with her family and friends. Ruth was preceded in death by a daughter, Marcella Rene' Glaspy, and a brother, Carroll Lance.
Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Milton Bordeaux; three daughters, Sheila West (Arthur) of Panama City, Trina Claycomb (Scott) of Jacksonville, Fla., and Cara Waite (Mark) of Panama City; a sister, LlaLeet Hudson (Bob) of Asheville, N.C.; a brother, Gary Lance (Mary) of Hendersonville, N.C.; her grandchildren, Chris Glaspy, Kelly West, Emily Claycomb, Cory Waite, Joshua Claycomb, Kyle Waite and Katie West; and two great-grandchildren, Hailey Glaspy and Logan Glaspy.
Funeral services will begin at 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 1, 2014, at the Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Luther Stanford officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the chapel from 1 p.m. until service time at 2 p.m.. Mrs. Bordeaux's sons-in-law and grandsons will serve as her pallbearers.
