Teresa Rae Plenge, 58, of Panama City, passed away Monday, June 30, 2014.
Teresa was a native and life-long resident of Panama City, a graduate of Bay High School, and attended Gulf Coast Community College. She worked as a Legal Secretary for the Major Crimes Division at the 14th Circuit State Attorney's Office for twenty years. Teresa also worked with the Florida Dachshund Rescue for several years, helping to rescue over 100 dogs. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dave and Jeanette Raulerson.
Survivors include her husband of 23 years, Ronald Plenge; their children, Michelle Nikol Miller and her husband John David Miller and Kelly Carver, all of Panama City. Also surviving are her five beloved fur babies (her granddogs) and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life service will begin at 6:00 PM Thursday, July 3, 2014, at the Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 PM until service time at 6:00.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Teresa's name may be made to the H.E.A.R.T. Animal Rescue, P. O. Box 607, Defuniak Springs, FL 32435. The family extends special thanks to the employees of the 14th Circuit State Attorney's Office for all their acts of kindness and love.
