Lynn Foard Nance, 78, of Panama City, passed away peacefully July 20, 2014 in the Covenant Hospice Care Center.
She was born August 8, 1935 in Charlotte, North Carolina. She was a retired registered nurse. She had been a resident here for 18 years, moving from Concord, North Carolina. She was a member of All Saints Episcopal Church in Concord, North Carolina, where she faithfully served and sang in the choir.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bernie Joe Nance; her parents, Seldon James and Nanny Ruth Foard; her brothers, Jim Foard, Larry Foard, and Al Foard.
She is survived by her two daughters, Donna Tran and husband Quang of Lynn Haven, and Kelly Nance of Panama City; three grandchildren, Benjamin Tran, Nicholas Tran and Emily Tran of Lynn Haven; twin sister, Donna F. Turner of Charlotte, North Carolina; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tom Weller officiating. The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to Covenant Hospice as well as her caregivers for their love and devotion over the last several years.
