"Biker Bob," as he was known to his friends, died at his home unexpectedly Wednesday evening, Sept. 29, 2010.

He is survived by his parents, Robert Sr. and Vivian Gutting; wife, Marieta; children, Harley and Erika; sister, Katherine Beck (John) of Tallahassee; and brother, Lt. Col. Lucien Gutting (Beverly) of Ft. McPherson, Ga.
He also is survived by uncle Dick Gutting (Susie) of Miami and uncle Norbert James (Carolyn) of Macon, Ga.; nephews, John and Wayne Sharples of Tallahassee; nieces, Maxine Beck of Tallahassee and Katie and Cindy Gutting of Ft. McPherson; nephew, Aaron Sharples (Susie) of Seminole, Fla.; and numerous cousins.
He also leaves behind his beloved dogs, Ginger, Esmerelda and Fluffy; and hunting buddies, Butch Pomeroy and Martin Duus.
Bob attended St. John's Catholic School and Bay High School and was an electrician by trade. He was a former member of Satan's Tramps MC Club. He was born in Macon, Ga., and after a brief period of living in Ocala, Fla., the family relocated to Panama City in 1962 where he remained until his passing.
Bobby was a kind spirit who always protected those in need, whether animal or human. He lived his life to the fullest and will be greatly missed by his family. He did it his way.
A memorial service will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 2, 2010, in the chapel of Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home with Deacon Tim Warner officiating.
