Mary Louise Rodgers, 90, of Panama City, passed away Friday, Feb. 25, 2011, at a local nursing facility.

She was born in, and had lived most of her life in Panama City, and was a member of the First Church of God, Panama City, Fla. She was predeceased by her husband, John Lewis Rodgers, a son, Joseph Donald Rodgers, and a grandson, Matthew Rodgers.
Survivors include her children, Mary Ann Pringle of Jackson, Ala. and LaQuita Pridgen and husband Dennis of Callaway Heights, Edward Lee Rodgers and wife Dale of Chattanooga, Tenn., and John Marion Rodgers of Panama City; 8 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will begin 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 27, 2011, at the First Church of God of Panama City at with the Rev. John Otero officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday, Feb. 26, 2011, from 6 until 8 p.m.
