Albert "Sackie" Howell, 83, of Panama City, passed away Wednesday, June 12, 2013.

He was a Retired Chief Master Sergeant, USAF, having served in Korea and Vietnam during the conflict, the latter for which he received a bronze star.

He was preceded in death by his wife of fifty-five years, Joan Kathleen and one daughter, Robin Annette.

He is survived by three children, John Alan Howell (Georgette), Kathleen Ann Mentzer (Michael), Matthew Albert Howell (Kaki); five grandchildren, Desiree, Caitlin, Veronica, Meagan, Bridgette; and two great grandchildren, Jaden and Kai.

A graveside service with military honors will be conducted at the Catholic Cemetery on Saturday, June 15 at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, anyone wishing to, may make memorial donations to the AM Vets Post #47, 8317 Front Beach Rd, Ste 14, Panama City, FL 32407 in memory of Sackie Howell.
