LOCUSTDALE — Kenneth "Hots" Wehry, 83, of Middle Street, passed away Friday, Jan. 31, 2014, at Broad Mountain Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Frackville.
He was born in Pitman, March 18, 1930, a son of the late Joseph and Elizabeth (Erdman) Wehry.
He was a member of Grace Evangelical Independent Church, Locustdale.
Kenneth worked for North Schuylkill High School's maintenance department for many years until his retirement.
Surviving are his wife of 66 years, Shirley (Kerner) Wehry, of Locustdale; four sons, John and his wife, Beverly, Kenneth and his wife, Debra, David and his wife, Cathy, all of Locustdale, and Robert and his wife, Robin, of Ashland; nine grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two daughters, Nancy Wehry and Lori Ann Cabulis; two brothers, Dan and Joseph Wehry, and two sisters, Velma Motter and Helen Watts.

WEHRY — Kenneth "Hots" Wehry, 83, of Middle Street, Locustdale. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the Kull-Heizenroth Funeral Home, 901 Centre St., Ashland, www.kullfuneral.com, with the Rev. Rose Marquardt officiating. Interment will be in Christ Church Cemetery, Fountain Springs. A viewing will be held at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday.
