Barry L. Yuricich

KLINGERSTOWN — Barry L. Yuricich, 56, of 1001 Pumpkin Center Road, passed away at 7 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2013, at the home of Wayne, his brother, who was at his bedside. Barry was in ill health for four years.

He was born in Shamokin, July 7, 1957, a son of the late Anthony J. and Georgia V. (Jeremiah) Yuricich.

He was previously a resident of Coal Township and was a 1975 graduate of Shamokin Area High School.

Barry worked as a coal miner and assistant foreman in several coal mines.

He was a member of Mountainside Assembly of God Church, Coal Township, and the Pastime Club, the Redman and Knights of Columbus, all in Shamokin.

Barry loved to hunt and was well known for throwing pool tables and helping people when it came to a fight.

He is survived by his brother, Wayne, with whom he resided; a son, Anthony J. Yuricich; stepchildren, John and Alice Richwein and Benny Jeremiah; a brother, Jeff Procoha, and the Eliott family. He loved the Ritzman family and all his other relatives. Barry's family expresses sincere gratitude to the VNA. nurses for the kindness and loving care and also to Pastor Earl for his sincere assistance in their time of need.



YURICICH — Barry L. Yuricich, 56, of 1001 Pumpkin Center Road, Klingerstown. A religious funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at Mountainside Assembly of God Church, 1900 Trevorton Road, Coal Township, with the Rev. Richard H. Earl, pastor, officiating. A visitation for family and friends will be held from noon until time of service in the church. Burial of Barry's cremains will follow the service in Northumberland Memorial Park, Stonington. As an expression of sympathy, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Mountainside Assembly of God Church. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to James Kelley Funeral Home, James F. Kelley, dDirector, 1001 W. Arch St. at Maple Street, Coal Township.
