MOUNT CARMEL — Enez L. Stetz, 95, of 38 S. Maple St., died Saturday, Nov. 23, 2013, at Mount Carmel Senior Living Community.
She was born in Mount Carmel, March 10, 1918, a daughter of the late Albino and Marie Tafner.
She was a lifelong resident of Mount Carmel and was employed by the General Cigar Factory for 40 years.
On Dec. 1, 1938, in Mount Carmel, she married John "Wimpy" Stetz, who preceded her in death Dec. 1, 1993.
She was educated in Mount Carmel Township public schools and was a member of Divine Redeemer Church and a former member of St. Peter Church. She also was a member of Mount Carmel Senior Citizen Center and the Council of Catholic Women.
Survivors include a son, Robert C. Stetz, of Mount Carmel; a daughter, Margaret "Peggy" Lutcavage, of Strong; a granddaughter, Denise Girvin and her husband, Ernie, of Gap, and a great-grandson, Bryce Goodroad, also of Gap.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Johnny Lutcavage, and the following brothers and sisters, Alice Clauser, Eugene Tafner, Elmer Tafner, Melvin Tafner, Edith Pizzoli and Erma Zamboni.
STETZ — Enez L. Stetz, 95, of 38 S. Maple St., Mount Carmel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Divine Redeemer Church, 300 W. Avenue, Mount Carmel, with the Rev. Martin O. Moran III as celebrant. Burial will be in St. Peter Cemetery, Mount Carmel Township. Viewing will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. Tuesday in the C.J. Lucas Funeral Home, Inc., 27 N.
