John C. Kehler, "Pappy", 67, died at his home in Forsyth, MT, of natural causes on January 7, 2013.
John was born in Pottsville, on July 3, 1945; he was the fifth child of Evelyn and John D. Kehler.
He attended school at Tri-Valley.
He married his sweetheart, Linda, in 1964 and together they had a son and a daughter.
John was a former truck driver and later worked in a textile mill.
In 1974, he was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses.
In 1989 he moved to Montana to be with his children. He and his son joined forces to form Shine & Glo, Inc.
John is survived by his wife of 48 years, Linda, a son John (Dala) of Forsyth, a daughter Tina (Tony) of Portland, OR; grandchildren Jared, Kendra, Brianna; he is also survived by his sisters, Sophie and Janie.
John is preceded in death by his father John, mother Evelyn, brothers Ronald, Eugene and Bill.
Services were held Saturday, Jan. 12, at the Chapel of Stevenson & Son's Funeral Home, 245 Westwind lane, Forstyth, MT 59327.
