COAL TOWNSHIP — Linda F. Lawton, 56, of Coal Township, passed away Saturday, Dec. 1, 2012, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
Born May 16, 1956, in Lewisburg, she was a daughter of Gary High, of Lewisburg, and the late Marcia (Horrox) High.
On Dec. 23, 1989, she married Ray Lawton, who survives.
She worked as a landscaper at the Frosty Valley Country Club, Danville, for many years.
In addition to her father, she is survived by a son, Sean Dawson, of Delaware; a daughter, Roberta Lebo, of Maryland; three grandchildren; three brothers, David and his wife, Bonnie High, of Coal Township, Keith High, of Bloomsburg, and Robert Smith, of Lykens; a sister, Luann and her husband, Mark Shellenberger, of Millville; her step-mother, Betty High, of Lewisburg; an aunt, Vicki and her husband, Michael Archey, of Cresson, and her best friend, Sue Martz, of Sunbury.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by a brother, Kevin High, and a sister, Patty Rake.
