Louise E. "Bess" (Golden) Pasco

COAL TOWNSHIP — Louise E. "Bess" (Golden) Pasco, 78, of 1040 W. Lynn St., passed away at 9:50 a.m. Thursday, June 20, 2013, at Mountain View: A Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Coal Township.

She was born in Shamokin, Dec. 18, 1934, a daughter of the late Helen (Crawford) and Earl Golden.

She graduated from Coal Township High School.

Bess was married in Sacred Heart Cathedral, Rochester, N.Y., July 14, 1956, to Joseph F. Pasco, who preceded her in death May 14, 1979.

She was a parishioner of Our Lady of Hope Church and the former St. Stephen Church, Coal Township.

As a homemaker, she enjoyed spending time at her home.

Bess is survived by a daughter, Ann Louise Bogetti and her husband, John, of Millersburg; a son, Michael Pasco and his wife, Lisha, of Elysburg; a Bushi to her grandson, Michael Pasco, of Elysburg; two brothers, Jerome "Jerry" Golden, of Coal Township, and Bill Golden, of Michigan, and nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sons, Joseph Pasco, on Nov. 18, 1972, and Gregory R. Pasco, on Feb. 4, 1993; three brothers, Richard Golden, Jack Golden and Edward E. "Mullet" Golden, and a sister, Norma Klemick.

PASCO — Louise E. "Bess" (Golden) Pasco, 78, of 1040 W. Lynn St., Coal Township. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Our Lady of Hope Church, First and Chestnut streets, Coal Township. Relatives and friends attending the funeral mass are asked to meet at the church at 9:45 a.m. Interment will follow Mass in All Saints Cemetery, Bear Gap. There will not be a viewing or visitation. As an expression of sympathy, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the (http://www.cancer.org/), 1948 E. Third St., Williamsport 17701. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to James Kelley Funeral Home, James F. Kelley, director, 1001 W. Arch St. at Maple Street, Coal Township.
