COAL TOWNSHIP — Margaret E. Wayne, 99, of 2050 Trevorton Road, passed away Saturday, July 6, 2013, at Mountain View: A Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born in Shamokin Oct. 15, 1913, a daughter of Martin Rodarmel and Esther Bamford.
She was a former resident of South Wood Street, Shamokin, and Serenity Gardens, Kulpmont.
She attended Shamokin schools.
Margaret was married in Herndon in 1935 to Charles H. H. Wayne, who preceded her in death March 31, 1952.
She worked as a nurse's aid at Mountain View Manor for more than 30 years and Mountain View: A Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for 1 1/2 years.
She was of the Protestant faith.
Margaret is survived by a son, Charles W. Wayne and his wife, Rose, of Shamokin; six grandchildren, Charles J. Wayne, of Shamokin, Glen J. Wayne, of Shamokin, David W. Wayne and his wife, Renee, of Mountain Top, Leslie A. Wayne Hoppe and her husband, Paul, of Chester Springs, John R. Wayne and his wife, Sandy, of Coal Township, and Wendy Kleman and her husband, Jamie, of Coal Township, and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Phyllis Wayne; a son, John Wayne and his wife, Carol; a grandson, Scott Wayne; four brothers, Martin, Kenneth, Rennell and John Rodarmel and Richard Krebs; and two sisters, Larue Rodarmel and Dorothy McBride.

WAYNE — Margaret E. Wayne, 99, of 2050 Trevorton Road, Coal Township. A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Farrow Funeral Home, Shamokin, with the Rev. Mark Brownson officiating. Burial will be in the Shamokin Cemetery. A viewing will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

You were 3 months away from your 100th birthday, you lived a long good life and we will forever miss you. Keep watch over all of us, and rest in peace we will meet again someday. You were a very kind hearted woman and would do anything for anyone. You were the best Grandma any person could have or wished for. I love you RIP Gram..until we meet again
