Mary Ann (Jaglinski) Eglanski

RANSHAW — Mary Ann (Jaglinski) Eglanski, 88, of 217 Main St., passed away at 9:19 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 28, 2013, at her residence, where she lived for her entire life.

She was born in Ranshaw, March 17, 1925, a daughter of the late Stanley and Esther (Baginski) Jaglinski.

She was a graduate of Coal Township High School Class of 1943, and a graduate of Bloomsburg University Class of 1971.

She taught as a secondary teacher in Shamokin Area School District.

She was a former member of St. Anthony Church, Ranshaw, and was most recently a member of Mother Cabrini Church, Shamokin.

She was a member of the Pennsylvania Association of School Retirees and the Shamokin Area Retired Educators.

Mary was the last remaining member of her immediate family.

She is survived by a godchild, Suzanne McFadden.

EGLANSKI — Mary Ann (Jaglinski) Eglanski, 88, of 217 Main St., Ranshaw. A funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Mother Cabini Church, Shamokin. Burial will be in St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Coal Township. A viewing will be held from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Friday in the Leonard J. Lucas Funeral Home, 120 S. Market St., Shamokin. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mary's memory to Mother Cabrini Church, 214 N. Shamokin St., Shamokin 17872.
