Reynold J. "Renny" Bishop

ELYSBURG — Reynold J. "Renny" Bishop, 60, of 27 Bucks Road, passed away Wednesday, May 1, 2013, at his residence.

Born in Shamokin Dec. 10, 1952, he was a son of the late Ann Horne Bishop.

He graduated from Shamokin Area High School in 1970.

Reynold was married Sept. 20, 1997, to the former Cynthia "Cindy" K. Sheatler, who survives.

He was employed as a truck driver for nine years by Kurt Weiss Greenhouse, Danville.

He was a member of the Queen of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Elysburg.

He was an avid Penn State football fan.

In addition to his wife of 15 years, Reynold is survived by a brother, Dennis Bishop and wife, Monica, of Santee, Calif., and an aunt, Helen Lazarz, of Shamokin.

BISHOP — Reynold J. "Renny" Bishop, 60, of 27 Bucks Road, Elysburg. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Christian Wake Service at 11:30 a.m. Monday at Visneski Funeral Home, 10 W. Mahoning St., Danville, with the Rev. Alfred Sceski officiating. Burial will follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Danville. Friends will be received from 10 a.m. until the time of service Monday. Memorial contributions may be made to The Montour United, 1420 N. Susquehanna Trail, Selinsgrove.
