ETTERS — Ronald R. Dauksha, 61, of Etters, northern York County, passed away peacefully Monday evening, Feb. 17, 2014, surrounded by his loving family in the PSU-Hershey Medical Center.
Born at Shamokin State Hospital May 1, 1952, he was the fourth child of the late Edward G. and Mae D. (Piaseczny) Dauksha.
Following his education at the former St. Stanislaus School for elementary and Pulaski Junior High, he graduated from Shamokin Area High School in 1970.
He was employed as a forklift operator for the former Arnold Logistics, Camp Hill.
He was a member of Mother Cabrini Church.
Ronald is survived by two sisters, JoAnne Allison (Jim), of Harrisburg, and Cindy Pisani (Ron), of Wexford; two brothers, Edward (Sharon), of Elysburg, and David (Virjean), of Harrisburg; nieces and nephews, Pam Allison, Caryn (Allison) Irving, Anthony and Christopher Pisani, Jennifer (Dauksha) English and Kimberly and Michelle Dauksha, two great-nieces, and a great-nephew.
DAUKSHA — Ronald R. Dauksha, 61, of Etters, northern York County. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Mother Cabrini Church, Shamokin. Burial will be in St. Stanislaus cemetery. Honoring Ron's wishes, there will be no viewing. Memorial contributions may be made to Mother Cabrini Church, 214 N. Shamokin St., Shamokin. Leonard J. Lucas Funeral Home, 120 S. Market St., Shamokin, with supervisor Leonard J. Lucas Jr., has charge of the arrangements.
