NORRISTOWN — Rosalie (Bruno) McCloskey, 94, of Norristown, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 4, 2013, at Gwynedd Square Nursing Center, Lansdale.
Born Nov. 2, 1919, in Kulpmont, she was a daughter of the late Marie (Parola) and Nicholas Bruno, and the wife of the late Paul Rusinko and Anthony McCloskey.
Mrs. McCloskey was born and raised in Kulpmont and relocated to the Philadelphia area in 1939, where she had been a local resident ever since.
She was an assembler for Philco Ford/Leeds Northup, retiring in 1984.
She attended local Catholic churches, especially Visitation BVM, and since living with her daughter, St. Titus. She had been a resident at Gwynedd Square since September.
Surviving are a daughter, Patricia (Raymond) Ferraro; four grandchildren, Joseph, Katherin, Michael and Matthew, five great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and spouses, she was preceded in death by a son, Joseph Rusinko; a longtime companion, Harold "Mick" Moser, and her siblings, Armand Bruno, Minnie Gard, Chris Bruno, Sam Bruno and Jennie Shukitt.
MCCLOSKEY — Rosalie (Bruno) McCloskey, 94, of Norristown. Cremation services were handled by the Caramenico Funeral Home, Inc., of Norristown. Burial of her ashes will be held at a later date in the family plot at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Cemetery, Kulpmont.
