DALMATIA — Stephen Carl Wynn, 61, of Toad Valley Road, Dalmatia, entered into eternal rest Saturday, Aug. 19, 2017, at his residence.
He was a lifetime resident of Dalmatia and was born March 4, 1956, in Danville, a son of the late Carl and Mary (Koppenhaver) Wynn.
Survivors include his wife of over 16 years, Pamela R. (Keim) Wynn, at home; his daughter, Kerri Mattern, of Halifax; three brothers, Randall Wynn and his wife Cheryl, of Dalmatia, Gary Wynn and his wife Rebecca, of Dalmatia and Larry Wynn and his wife, Doris, of Herndon; a sister, Stepanie Latsha and her husband, Kenneth, of Dubois; grandchildren Elizabeth and Samuel Klinger, of Halfiax; and many nieces and nephews.
He was a 1974 graduate of Line Mountain High School.
Steve was a toolmaker and welder for 40 years. He was last employed prior to his illness as a toolmaker at Advanced Scientifics Inc., Millersburg. He was owner and operator of his own machine shop, Wynn's Machine and Tool, where he did fabrication, machining and welding for other local companies as well as projects and repairs for people in the community.
He was a member of Zion Stone Valley Parish in Hickory Corners and a lifetime member of the Herndon Fire Co. Steve enjoyed being outdoors — four wheeling, motorcycles, snowmobiling and, of course, working on his trucks, several of which he won many trophies at local car and truck shows.
