Eric Trocki Obituary
Born in Ashland July 27, 1973, he was a son of Michael F. and Linda A. Trocki, Mount Carmel.
He was employed by Hinkle and McCoy in pipeline construction.
Eric was a 1992 graduate of Mount Carmel Area High School, where he played football, baseball and basketball for the Red Tornadoes. He attended WITT Welding School and Holy Spirit Grade School.
He was a member of the Laborer's Union, Local 158.
Eric was a member of the Catholic faith and believed in a higher power.
He loved to be with his friends and enjoyed the good times.
He was an ardent fan of the Philadelphia Eagles, Philadelphia Flyers and St. Louis Cardinals, and volunteered his time with the Meals on Wheels program during the holiday seasons with his good friends.
He was a loving and giving father to his two young daughters and his happy-go-lucky spirit will be missed by everyone who had the good fortune to be his friend.
Survivors include his parents; a brother, Jeffrey M. Trocki and his wife, Nikki, of Mount Carmel; a sister, Stacy L. Trocki and her fiance, Greg Fenix, of Coal Township; two daughters, Jocelyn Trocki, of Mount Carmel, and Gabriella J. Trocki, of Coal Township; his grandmother, Elizabeth Trocki, of Mount Carmel; a niece, Kayla Parker; two nephews, Dylan Fenix and Mason Trocki; his godmother and aunt, Tina Bolick and her husband, Joseph, and their daughters, Molly and Emily, of Atlas, and other aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Lefty and Bonnie Becker, and paternal grandfather, Francis "Skeeter" Trocki.
TROCKI — Eric Michael Trocki, 36, of 214 S. Walnut St., Mount Carmel. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at C.J. Lucas Funeral Home Inc., 27 N. Vine St., Mount Carmel, C.J. Lucas IV, supervisor, with the Rev. Robert Yohe officiating. Burial will be in St. Peter Cemetery, Mount Carmel Township. Viewing will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, with a Christian wake service at 8 p.m., and from 8:30 a.m. Thursday until time of the funeral services in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Susquehanna Bank in care of the Eric M. Trocki Memorial Trust Fund for his daughters.

I would like to extend my sincerest condolences to the Trocki family. This news was heart wrenching to me, and so many others. I can only hope and pray that the massive outpouring of sympathy and support will offer some comfort in this most difficult time. But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.

It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,

And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.
So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,

My earliest memories of Eric were at Noni's house when I would come for Mattucci's pizza night on Fridays with Molly when we were in grade school.
