SHAMOKIN — Audrey M. Olvany, 76, of 1 N. Market St., passed away at 9 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 30, 2013, at her residence.

Born in Shamokin, June 1, 1937, she was a daughter of the late William B. and Elva (Landau) Stankunas.
She attended Shamokin area schools.
On Feb. 2, 1957, in First Baptist Church of Shamokin, she married Robert P. Olvany, who survives.
She attended Trinity Evangelical Church on Arch Street in Shamokin.
Audrey was a homemaker in her own home taking care of her family. She enjoyed cooking, baking and taking care of her family. She especially loved to walk the family dog, Mege.
Surviving in addition to her husband, Robert, are five children, Alan Scott Olvany and his wife, Pamela, of Muncy, Robert P. Olvany II and his wife, Ofe, of Texas, Timothy J. Olvany, of Excelsior, Valarie A. Zimmerman and her husband, Bill, of Coal Township, and Todd W. Olvany and his companion, Sallie Griffiths, of Coal Township; five grandchildren, David William Zimmerman, Ashley A. Carl, Caitlin Olvany, Danielle Olvany and Robert P. Olvany III; a stepgranddaughter, Sasha Williams; a stepgrandson, Andrew Griffiths; two brothers, William Stankunas Jr. and his wife, Maryann, and James Stankunas; and three sisters, Eileen Baranoski, Carol Bobber and Violet Krieger.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Tommy Stankunas.
OLVANY — Audrey M. Olvany, 76, of 1 N. Market St., Shamokin. There will be no visitation or hours of calling. Burial will be private and will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Audrey's name to the Pregnancy Care Center, 150 S. Market St., Shamokin 17872. Leonard J. Lucas Funeral Home, Shamokin, has charge of arrangements.
