SHAMOKIN - Beatrice T. "Betty" (Conbeer) Bradley, 94, of 42 N. Eighth St., passed away peacefully on Sunday, Aug. 19, 2018, in her home.

She was born in Shamokin, June 4, 1924, a daughter of the late Bridget (Dormer) Conbeer and Edward Conbeer.

She was a 1942 graduate of St. Edward High School.

Betty was married for 70 years to William A. Bradley, who preceded her in death on May 16, 2017. He was "the love of her life."

She was a homemaker who loved her husband and children more than anything. She was always involved in whatever activities interested her children. She volunteered community-wide and was also very active in St. Edward's Church for many years as a Girl Scout leader. "Make new friends and keep the old, one is silver and the other gold." Betty was an officer in Catholic Daughters of America, an avid reader and sports fan, especially football and baseball.

She was a fantastic baker and cook and prepared more meals and holiday treats than anyone could count. Everyone who knew her will miss her Christmas cookies.

She will be remembered as a loving wife, mom, gram, and great-grammy, who will remain a lasting influence on her entire family.

Betty is survived by six children, Bridget A. Bradley, wife of the late Robert Fitzpatrick, of Lancaster, Mary Jo (Bradley) Zelones and her husband, Tom, of Manassas, Virginia, Maureen (Bradley) Dudeck and her husband, Darrel, of Shamokin, Pat (Bradley) Makowski and her husband, Gary, of Sunnyside, Mike Bradley and wife, Nancy, of Kulpmont, and Kate (Bradley) Taby and her husband, John, of Shamokin; 11 grandchildren, Beth Anne, Tony and Amy Zelones, Darrell Dudeck, Maggie (Dudeck) Sieklicki and Jennifer Dudeck, Michael, Matthew, Liam, Sean and Bridget Bradley; three great-grandchildren, Sophia Zelones, Madelyn Sieklicki and Bennett Moyer.
