BERWICK — Bonnie (Wariki) Bennett, 55, of Spring Garden Avenue, died Sunday, Oct. 7, 2012, at her home.

Born in Shamokin, Sept. 8, 1957, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Esther (Marcavage) Wariki.

A graduate of Shamokin Area High School, Bonnie went on to become a seamstress for the former Kaydette in Berwick for 27 years.

She attended Emmanuel Bible Chapel and enjoyed reading, roller skating and cats.

Surviving are her son, Michael Bennett and his wife, Pamela, of Berwick; three brothers, Joseph, Robert and Stanley Wariki, and three sisters, Nancy Garancosky, Sally Bogetti and Jane Wariki, all of Shamokin; and a companion, Marty Brittain.


BENNETT — Bonnie (Wariki) Bennett, 55, of Spring Garden Avenue, Berwick. A visitation will be held from 9 a.m. Wednesday until the time of funeral services at 11 a.m. at Mayo Funeral Home Inc., 110 Chestnut St., Berwick, with the Rev. David Ney, her pastor, officiating.
