ELYSBURG — Branden W. Blodgett, 20, of 176 Horvath Drive, passed away Sunday, June 30, 2013, at his home.

Born April 25, 1993, in Mount Sinai Hospital, Hartford, Conn, he was a son of the late Keena M. Blodgett.
Branden was entering his sophomore year at Luzerne College where he was majoring in criminal justice.
He was a charismatic young man who enjoyed playing practical jokes on his family and friends. A true "gamer," he excelled at playing video games. He enjoyed going fishing with his friends and also bow hunting. He was a member of Elysburg Presbyterian Church and the Elysburg Fire Comapny.
Surviving are his loving grandmother, Lynn Blodgett, who raised him since he was two years-old and with whom he resided; his aunts and uncles, Kim and Bill Schultz, of Catawissa, Yvonne Blodgett, of Wallingford, Conn., Tonya and Dennis Carignan, of Enfield, Conn., and Richard and Judy Rivard, of Enfield, Conn.; his cousins, Kaitlyn, Courtney, Samantha and Emma Schultz and Britney, Brianna and Alexis Blodgett, and numerous friends.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by an uncle, Eric Blodgett.
BLODGETT — Branden W. Blodgett, 20, of 176 Horvath Drive, Elysburg. A Religious Funeral Service will be held 7 p.m. Friday at Elysburg Presbyterian Church, 44 W. Valley Ave., Elysburg, with the Rev. Matthew Young officiating. Friends are invited to call at the visitation and viewing from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at the church. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to James Kelley Funeral Home, James F. Kelley, director, 1001 W. Arch St. at Maple Street, Coal Township. As an expression of sympathy, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Elysburg Presbyterian Church, 44 W. Valley Ave., Elysburg, PA 17824.
