ALLENTOWN — Carol J. Bubernack, 76, of Allentown and formerly of Coopersburg, passed away Thursday, Nov. 14, 2013, in St. Luke's Hospital, Allentown, surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Excelsior (Coal Township), she was a daughter of the late Charles M. and Caroline K. (Bucharski) Choplick.

She was a graduate of Coal Township High School.

She was the wife of George M. Bubernack. The couple celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary in May.

Carol worked in middle management at Spirax-Sarco.

She enjoyed her weekly card games with friends, playing penny slots and taking care of her grandchildren. Carol will be remembered for her smile and her good nature.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Cindy Gould and her husband, Barry, of Langhorne, and Sandy Josephson and her husband, Mike, of Slatington; a son, Michael Bubernack and his wife, Fusun, of Bethlehem; five grandchildren, Ben (Patti), Rebecca (Frank), Merjan, Sony, and Sirma; two great-grandchildren, Simon and Harry; two brothers, Danny and Bruce, and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Chester and Charles.
