LONGS, S.C. — Charles J. "Buddy" "Charlie" Gilotti, 73, of Longs, S.C., entered into eternal life Tuesday, April 1, 2014, at the Grand Strand Regional Medical Center, Myrtle Beach, S.C.

Born in Coal Township, he was a son of the late Robert and Julia Gilotti, of Mount Carmel.
He was a graduate of Mount Carmel Area High School and former owner of Gilotti's Pizza of Mount Carmel. Upon retirement, Charlie's love for the game of golf took him to Myrtle Beach, where he worked part-time at Tidewater, Crown Park and Possum Trot golf clubs.
In addition to being an avid golfer and sports enthusiast, Charlie was a proud member and past president of the Steampiper Hunt Club since 1957 and a life member of the American Hose Fire Company, Mount Carmel.
Surviving are his daughter, Cathy J. Kauffman, his son-in-law, Michael, and two grandchildren, Aaron and Lauren Kauffman, all of Etters.
