HARRISBURG — Clara M. Hause, 85, of Harrisburg, passed away Tuesday, July 16, 2013, at Harrisburg Hospital.

She was born in Shamokin, Aug. 8, 1927, a daughter of the late Stanley and Stella (Marciniak) Wieczorek.
On Sept. 12, 1953, in St. Casimir's Church, Kulpmont, she married Thomas J. Hause, who preceded her in death March 24, 2009.
Clara was a retired beautician. She owned and operated the Clara Hause Beauty Shop in Centralia.
She was a member of St. Margaret Mary Parish in Harrisburg and also was a member of the Polish Cultural Club in Mount Carmel.
Clara worked closely for many years with the youth of Centralia as part of the Centralia Teen Club.
Surviving are three daughters and two sons-in-law, Maureen Hause, of Hummelstown, Lisa Rooney and her husband, Jack, of Shenandoah, and Carla Tucci and her husband, Eugene, of Dillsburg; a son, Thomas Hause Jr., of Harrisburg; three grandchildren, Dane, Evan and Leanne Rooney; a brother, John Wieczorek, of Ellicott City, Md.; a sister and brother-in-law, Angela Krupinski and her husband, Frank, of Hamburg, and nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Leanne Hause, and a grandson, Colin B. Rooney.
HAUSE — Clara M. Hause, 85, of Harrisburg. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Margaret Mary Church, Harrisburg. Burial will be private in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville. Visitation with the family will be held from 10 a.m. until time of Mass at the church. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy can be made to the Colin B. Rooney Memorial Scholarship Fund, M&T Bank, 2 S. Main St., Shenandoah 17976. Joseph J. Stutz Funeral Home Inc., Mount Carmel, Joseph J. Stutz III, supervisor, has charge of arrangements.
