MOUNT CARMEL - Clayton F. Kisela, 65, passed away on Sunday, Sept. 9, 2018, at the Mount Carmel Senior Living Community.

He was born at the former Ashland State General Hospital, Aug. 1, 1953, a son of the late Stephen and Mary Jane (King) Kisela.

He was a 1971 graduate of Mount Carmel High School.

Clayton was owner and operator of a tri-axle, which he used in the coal industry. In his younger years he was a well-known auto painter and mechanic.

Surviving are a daughter, Veronica Persing and her husband, William, of Coal Township; three sons, Clayton Kiesla Jr., of Allentown, Troy Kisela, of Coal Township, and Keith Kisela, of Mount Carmel; six grandchildren, Aubrey, Alyssa and Aaron Persing and Brandon, Sophia and Connor Kisela; two brothers, Stephen Kisela, of Sunbury, and Joseph Kisela and his wife, Sharon, of Schuylkill Haven; five sisters, Belinda Grilli and her husband Tom, of Ridgewood, New Jersey, Kathleen Nodzak and her husband, John, of Somerset, New Jersey, Eileen Jones and her husband Jack, of Barnesville, Mary Murray and her husband, Dale, of Rockledge, Florida, and Jovay Mata and her husband, Fernie, of Palm Bay, Florida.

Preceding him in death, in addition to his parents, were a daughter, Jessica and a brother, David.

KISELA - Claton F. Kisela, 65 of Mt. Carmel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Friday in the Church of Our Lady of Mount Carmel with the Rev. Francis J. Karwacki, Pastor officiating. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery, Ralpho Township. Joseph J. Stutz, Inc. Funeral Home, 40 South Market Street, Mount Carmel, Joseph J. Stutz, III Supervisor is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the funeral home to help defray the cost of the funeral services.
