LEBANON — David J. "Diz" Johnson Sr., 75, of 1906 Carlton Court, died Thursday, Jan. 10, 2013, at The Good Samaritan Hospital, Lebanaon.

Born in Shamokin, May 20, 1937, he was a son of the late Donald L. and Florence E. Badman Johnson.
A 1955 graduate of Shamokin High School, he served as general manager and sales manager of Pennfield Corp. for more than 35 years.
He was the husband of the late Patricia A. "Pat" Byrnes Johnson, who died in 2005.
He was a member of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, Lebanon.
"Diz" was an avid sports fan and golfer who spent many years coaching multiple youth sports in Lebanon County.
Surviving are two sons, David J. Johnson Jr., and his wife, Lydia, of Enola, and Michael Johnson, and his fiancee, Cindy Huber, of Mechanicsburg; a daughter, Susan Snyder, and her husband, Michael A., of Lebanon; five grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Donald Johnson, and three sisters, Nancy Gullett, Patricia Chladek and Joan Fryberger.
JOHNSON — David J. "Diz" Johnson Sr., 75, of 1906 Carlton Court, Lebanon. A memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, 12 N. Eighth St., Lebanon.
