Elva M. Huey, 94, of Harrisburg, formerly of Donaldson, died Thursday, July 18, 2013 at Select Medical, Harrisburg.

Elva was born in Donaldson, Feb. 17, 1919, a daughter of the late Robert and Anna Krone Krommes.
She was the widow of Abraham L. Huey, who passed away June 27, 2003.
Elva was formerly employed by the Honeybee Factory, Donaldson.
She was a member of Zions Lutheran Church, Donaldson, although she had been attending the Mount Calvary Methodist Church, Harrisburg, since 2006.
In addition to her husband, Elva is preceded in death by a sister, Wilma Lord.
She is survived by a daughter, Beverly Paul, widow of John Paul III, Harrisburg; grandchildren, John A. Paul IV (Wendy) and their children, Laurel, Jillian and Tanner, Minnesota, Jeffrey Paul (Heather) and their son, Billy, Shamokin, and Cheryl Blaha (William) and their daughter, Ashley, Harrisburg; a niece, Darlene Popp; a brother, Robert Krommes, Bluffton, S.C.
A celebration of life funeral service was held at 11 a.m. Monday, July 22 at Mount Calvery United Methodist Church, Harrisburg, with Pastor Jennifer Deutsch-Thomas officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mount Calvery Methodist Church, 175 N. Fairville Ave., Harrisburg, PA 17112 or Zions Lutheran Church, West Center Street, Donaldson, PA 17981.
Interment was in Schuylkill Memorial Park, Schuylkill Haven.
