Helen Laudenslager Obituary

Helen M. Laudenslager, 79, formerly of Lykens Twp, died Thursday, Sept. 8, at The Manor at Susquehanna Village, Millersburg.

Helen was born in Lykens, on March 31, 1932, a daughter of the late Helen (Dewalt) and Henry Sims. She was the widow of the late Harry Laudenslager.

She was a former member of the Lykens Valley Romers.

Helen is survived by a daughter, Kathryn Olinick, of Elizabethville; four sons Harry Jr., husband of Vicki Laudenslager, of Lykens Twp; Terry, husband of Deborah Laudenslager, of Halifax; Tim, husband of Patricia Laudenslager, of Dalmatia; Kim, husband of Kimberly Laudenslager, of Lykens; Helen is also survived by two sisters, Linda Knapp, of Lykens; Diane Bordner, of Carsonville; a brother, Mark Sims, of Lykens Twp. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, Anna Maletich and by one son Scott Laudenslager and by several brothers and sisters.

Friends are invited to call Friday, Sept. 16, 10:30-11 a.m. at James A. Reed Funeral Home. Memorial service will be held at James A. Reed Funeral Home, Pillow, at 11 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 16, with Pastor Carl Slough officiating.
