MOUNT CARMEL — Lucille L. Krewson, 64, a longtime resident of Mount Carmel, former warehouse clerk, mother and wife, passed away Tuesday, May 1, 2012, after a long-term illness at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

Born July 7, 1947, in Pottsville, she was a daughter of the late James "Cotton" and Mabel (Schweinhart) Gleason.

She was a graduate of Cass Township High School.

She married Wilson T. Krewson, who survives.

Lucille enjoyed yard sales, Irish music, reading, crafting and spending time with her family, especially her six grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by four daughters, Shawn Lynch, of Adamsdale, Valerie Chandler, of Shillington, Elizabeth Krewson, of Adamsdale, and Jill Krewson, of Mount Carmel; six grandchildren, Roan Lynch, Ian and Liam Chandler, Hayden, Aislen and Reagan Krewson; a sister, Susan Heigele, of Tamaqua, and six nieces.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Samuel, and a sister, Lenore Hammond.

KREWSON — Lucille L. Krewson, 64, a longtime resident of Mount Carmel. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Mahal-Ritzel Funeral Home, Inc., Minersville. Interment will be in Mount Peace Cemetery. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
