LANCASTER — Patricia K. Kachnoskie, 83, of Lancaster, passed away peacefully Sunday, Oct. 14, 2012, at her home.

Born in Shamokin, Jan. 20, 1929, she was a daughter of the late Samuel and Cecelia (Masinos) Rumberger.
Pat was married July 5, 1952, to Edmund L. "Kutch" Kachnoskie, who survives.
She worked at Hamilton Watch Company, Slaymaker Lock and The Kemp Company. In her earlier years, she owned and operated Pat's Beauty Salon, Shamokin.
She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Lancaster, where she was also a member of the Legion of Mary.
She enjoyed bowling, bird watching and, above all, she enjoyed spending time with her family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband of 60 years, she will be lovingly missed by three children, Cecelia "Ceil" Scheetz, of Lancaster, Edmund L. Kachnoskie Jr., and his wife, Charlene, of Willow Street, and Patricia A. McGee, and husband, Michael, of Lancaster; four grandchildren, Mandy, Ceil, Katie and Joe; four great-grandchildren, Tanner, Emily, Anthony and Cyana, and four brothers, William, Samuel, Bernard and Robert Rumberger.
KACHNOSKIE — Patricia K. Kachnoskie, 83, of Lancaster. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. today at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 440 St. Joseph St., Lancaster, with the Msgr. Thomas H. Smith as celebrant. Interment will be in St. Joseph New Catholic Cemetery, Bausman. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visit with the family at the church from 9:30 and 10:30 a.m. today. In lieu of flowers, memorial remembrances can be made in Pat's memory to St. Joseph Catholic Church, note: St. Vincent De Paul Society, 440 St. Joseph St., Lancaster 17603.
