George O. "Jug" Crisswell, Jr., 64, of Dayton Street, Williamstown, died Sunday, Oct. 7, at his home.
Born in Harrisburg, September 2, 1948, he was a son of the late George O. Crisswell Sr. and Ethel Crisswell Sheply.
He was a graduate of Millersburg High School. George was an Army Veteran of the Vietnam War where he received the purple heart.
He retired from the Mechanicsburg Navy Depot. He was of the Protestant Faith and a member of the DAV.
In addition to his parents he was pre-deceased by his wife, Catherine, August 21, 2012; a step daughter, Brenda Kohler.
Surviving are two sons, Michael and George Crisswell, both of Williamstown; a step-daughter, Shirley Shutt, Wiconisco, two step sons, Joseph Wren, Lykens and Ira Wren, Herndon; two sisters, Rosella Wetzel and Pat Buffington, both of Millersburg; 13 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren.
