CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Sara Ann Myers Kramer, 87, of Charlotte, N.C., passed away Friday, Dec. 7, 2012, at the Huntersville Oaks Nursing Home, Huntersville, N.C.

Born May 30, 1925, she was a daughter of the late Norris "Peck" and Mary Kathrine "Kate" (Hoover) Myers.
She married Nelson Kramer, who preceded her in death.
She was retired from the Steak Palace Restaurant and Delmar Studios.
Sara was an active member of Resurrection Lutheran Church for many years, and after moving to Huntersville Oaks, she was active in the Ila Robinette Sunday school class. She enjoyed entertaining the residents there and was an active voice for those that could not speak for themselves.
She loved gardening and taking care of her family, and especially spending time with her granddaughters.
Surviving are a daughter, Desna Kramer Hopkins, and her husband, Jim; beloved granddaughters, Hannah and Sarah Eckard, and Haily Hopkins Kemper, and her husband, Brad; a grandson, Harrison Hopkins; a sister, Edith Tressler, and her husband, Elmer; a special sister-in-law, Margaret Myers, and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by an infant daughter; a brother, Norris "Sonny" Edward Myers Jr., and three sisters, Elizabeth Wilson, Lydia Raup and Edna Stepp.
KRAMER — Sara Ann Myers Kramer, 87, of Charlotte, N.C. A service to celebrate her life will be held 4 p.m. Tuesday in the Resurrection Lutheran Church, Charlotte, N.C. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service. Arrangements are being handled by the Hankins & Whittington Funeral Service, 1111 East Blvd., Charlotte N.C.
