MOUNT CARMEL — Elinor E. Henrie, 95, formerly of 246 S. Vine St., Mount Carmel, died Monday, Dec. 31, 2012, at Mount Carmel Senior Living Community.
Born at home in Mount Carmel, Aug. 6, 1917, she was a daughter of the late Anthony and Katherine (Cezinski) Zoretski.
A lifelong resident of Mount Carmel, she was employed as a seamstress in local garment factories.
On April 15, 1939, in Holy Cross Church, Mount Carmel, she married the late John W. Henrie, who preceded her in death June 30, 1990.
Elinor was a 1934 graduate of Mount Carmel High School and was a member of Divine Redeemer Church, formerly a member of Holy Cross Church.
She also was a member of the ILGWU and the Eagles.
Survivors include a son, John Henrie and his wife, Kathleen, of Lakewells, Fla.; a daughter, Sandra Bradley and her husband, John, of Kulpmont; three grandchildren, Kevin Bradley and his wife, Tina, of Bloomsburg, Melissa Shurock and her husband, Brian, of Kulpmont, and Triscia Craig and her husband, Tim, of Langhorne, and five great-grandchildren, Madison, Bradley, Zander, Cole and Courtney.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Renee Smink.

HENRIE — Elinor E. Henrie, 95, formerly of 246 S. Vine St., Mount Carmel. Relatives, friends and neighbors are invited to attend a funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Divine Redeemer Church, 300 W. Avenue, Mount Carmel, with the Rev. John A. Szada Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Mount Carmel Township. At the request of the deceased, there will not be a viewing. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Divine Redeemer Church, 438 W. Avenue, Mount Carmel 17851. C.J. Lucas Funeral Home Inc., 27 N. Vine St., Mount Carmel, C.J.
