ASHLAND — Elizabeth Hughes, 80, of 1620 Walnut St., Ashland, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2013, at her residence.

Born in Ashland, May 28, 1932, she was a daughter of the late John and Ruth Horbach Weber.
She was a member of Zion's Reformed United Church of Christ, Ashland.
A graduate of Ashland High School, she worked for many years in local garment factories until retirement.
Surviving are her husband of 62 years, John Hughes, of Ashland; two daughters, Linda Brennan, of Aristes, and Sandra Hadesty, of Ashland; a brother, John Weber, of Ashland; four grandchildren, Mark Brennan, Jonathan Hadesty, Lillian Ennis and Lindsay Fetterolf; five great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
HUGHES — Elizabeth Hughes, 80, of 1620 Walnut St., Ashland. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Zion's Reformed United Church of Christ, Ashland, with the Rev. David Grant officiating. Interment will be at Brock Cemetery, Ashland. Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday in Zion's Reformed United Church of Christ, Ashland. Memorials can be made to VNA, 21 W. Independence St., Shamokin 17872. Kull-Heizenroth Funeral Home, Ashland, is in charge of arrangements.
