ATLAS — Charlotte Madison, 62, of 304 Columbia Ave., passed away Friday, Sept. 6, 2013, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

She was born in Shamokin State Hospital, March 20, 1951, a daughter of the late Walter and Dorothy (Olearnick) Lutcavage.
Charlotte attended Lansdale schools. She lived in the Lansdale and Hatfield areas for 40 years before moving to Atlas.
On May 16, 2003, in Shamokin, she married Edmond Madison, who survives.
Charlotte loved the outdoors and enjoyed going to the beach. Most of all, she enjoyed the time she spent with her grandchildren, who affectionately called her "Mam Mam."
Surviving in addition to her husband, Edmond, are two sons, Peter Madison and his wife, Cathy, of Kulpmont, and James Madison, of Marion Heights; two granddaughters, Brianna Madison, of Mount Carmel, and Karli Madison, of Natalie; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Blanche and Edward Polomski, of Mount Carmel, and Maria and James Birster, of Locust Gap; a brother-in-law, James Madison, of Hatfield; nieces and nephews, and her caregivers, Michelle, Megan and Shannon.
MADISON — Charlotte Madison, 62, of 304 Columbia Ave., Atlas. Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family. Joseph J. Stutz Inc., Funeral Home, 40 S. Market St., Mount Carmel, Joseph J. Stutz III, supervisor, has charge of arrangements.
