DOOLEYVILLE — Charles H. Dusendschine, 69, of 41 State St., died suddenly Sunday, Jan. 26, 2014, at his home.

Born at Ashland State Hospital, June 17, 1944, he was a son of the late Charles and Rose (Blasé) Dusendschine.
On Sept. 29, 1972, in Mount Carmel, he married the former Helen Morgan, who preceded him in death on June 25, 2010.
Charles attended Church of Our Lady grade school and high school. He retired from Cardinal Container Corp., where he was employed for 43 years.
He was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church and a life member of the Clover Hose Co., both of Mount Carmel, a life member of Beaverdale Fire Co., and a member of Sons of Poland, VFW, American Legion, Mount Carmel, Redman Club, Shamokin, and Fraternal Order of Police, Sunbury.
Charles was an avid pool shooter.
Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Charles and Janine Dusendschine, of Mount Carmel; two granddaughters, Bryanna and Gabrielle Dusendschine; two great-grandchildren, Chloe and Cayden; a sister, Cathy Scott and her husband, Ray, of Mount Carmel; nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Rose Marie Dusendschine, and a brother, George Dusendschine.
DUSENDSCHINE — Charles H. Dusendschine, 69, of 41 State St., Dooleyville. Religious services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Joseph J. Stutz Inc. Funeral Home, 40 S. Market St., Mount Carmel, Joseph J. Stutz III, supervisor. The Rev. Francis Karwacki will officiate. Visitation with the family will be at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until time of service.
