KULPMONT — An angel was made Friday, Feb. 14, 2014, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, when Charlene (Olivieri) Ziv, 52, of 829 Spruce St. passed from this life.

She was born Nov. 9, 1961, in Bristol, a beloved daughter of Charlotte (Krivitskie) Olivieri and the late Thomas Olivieri.
She was a resident of Kulpmont since 1992 and previously resided in Levittown.
She attended St. Michael the Archangel Grade School and was a 1979 graduate of Delhass High School. She continued her education and received a degree in business.
On Nov. 16, 1999, in Elysburg, Charlene married Stanton H. Ziv, who survives.
She was a member of the Church of the Holy Angels, Kulpmont.
Charlene was an avid lover of music and animals. She loved going to her son Matthew's sporting events and spending time with her cousins.
"My mother was a very caring and nice person. She did the best job caring for me, as we were so close together. She was the most down-to-earth person you could ever talk to, and she loved me and my dad and all her siblings and parents like nothing else, She had three cats, Cheesy, Blue and Angus." In addition to her husband, Stanton, her son, Matthew, and her mother, Charlotte, she is survived by a brother, Thomas A. Olivieri and his girlfriend, Kathryn Sherman, of Levittown; a sister, Maria C. Olivieri, of Levittown; a brother-in-law, Jay Ziv and his wife, Marie, of Boca Raton, Fla.; a sister-in-law, Marlyn Maslow, of Boca Raton, Fla.; eight cousins, Marylynn McGinn, of Mount Carmel, Ann Therese Vronick, of Selinsgrove, Elizabeth Rovito, of Shamokin, Curtis Olivieri, of Gordon, Stephanie Kallai, of Florida, David Churprinski, of California, Sandy Moratelli, of Elysburg, and Claire Lichty, of Shamokin; three aunts, Joanne Moratelli and Rita Ann Rovito, both of Shamokin, and Isabel Olivieri, of Gordon; an uncle, Art Rovito, of Shamokin, and special friends, the Blystone family, of Levittown.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Kitty Ziv, and father-in-law, David Ziv.
ZIV — Charlene (Olivieri) Ziv, 52, of 829 Spruce St., Kulpmont. Relatives, friends and neighbors are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Church of the Holy Angels, 855 Scott St., Kulpmont, with the Rev. Andrew Stahmer as celebrant. Burial will be in the Mount Carmel Cemetery, Mount Carmel Township. There will be no viewing.
