MOUNT CARMEL — Daniel C. Ross, 29, of 340 N. Oak St., died Sunday, March 9, 2014, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, where he was a patient.

Born in Novato, Calif., on Oct. 4, 1984, he was a son of Valeria J. Ross, of Schuylkill Haven, and Gary DeGennaro, of Levittown.

He also lived in Levittown and Kulpmont.

Daniel was a culinary arts student and loved to cook. He also loved music.

He was a 2002 graduate of Mount Carmel Area Junior-Senior High School.

He enjoyed hiking, camping and spending time with family and friends.

Daniel was a kind-hearted caring soul who cared a lot about his family and friends. He will be missed dearly and his contagious smile will live on forever in our hearts.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his fiancé, Liz Bakisae, of North Carolina, and his two bundles of joy, Alek and Atticus; three sisters, Tricia Wilde, of Schuylkill Haven, Janelle Wilde, of Mount Carmel, and Amanda Aliberto, of Fairless Hills; a brother-in-law, Matthew Miller, of Mount Carmel; an uncle, Kenneth S. Ross, of Kulpmont; two aunts, Linda Benedetti and Carol DeGennaro, both of Levittown; cousins Christina Seagraves, of Levittown; Casey Ross, of Lewisburg; Julian Ross, of Mount Carmel; Norman Ross, of Locust Gap; Olivia Ross, of Danville; Ean Ross, of Mount Carmel; Christopher Benedetti, Joey Benedetti, Vincent Benedetti, Gia Pape, Jack DeGennaro IV and many more cousins; one nephew, Tristan Castor, of Schuylkill Haven, and one niece, Aurora Miller, of Mount Carmel.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Barbara and Kenneth S. Ross, paternal grandparents Jack and Delores DeGennaro, uncle Carmen Ross, aunt Victoria Ross, a cousin, Carmen Ross, and two uncles, Jack and Daniel DeGennaro.

ROSS — Daniel C. Ross, 29, of 340 N. Oak St., Mount Carmel. Funeral services will be held at 12:30 p.m. Saturday, March 15, in C.J. Lucas Funeral Home Inc., 1053 Chestnut St., Kulpmont, C.J. Lucas, supervisor, with Father Andrew Stahmer officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Kulpmont. Viewing will be held from 9 a.m. until time of the funeral services Saturday in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Daniel C.
