MOUNT CARMEL — Aldona Anzulevich, 82, a former resident of Poplar Street, Kulpmont, who was a resident at the Mount Carmel Senior Living Community, passed away Thursday, May 1, 2014, at Geisinger-Shamokin Area Community Hospital.

She was born in Shenandoah, March 9, 1932, a daughter of the late Yurgis and Petronella (Kancerious) Naujunas.
In September 1949, she was married in St. Casimir's Church, Kulpmont, to the late Frank "Trey" Anzulevich, who preceded her in death April 7, 1979.
Aldona was a member of Church of the Holy Angels, Kulpmont.
She was an excellent cook and homemaker, a devoted and loving mother, and she enjoyed playing bingo with Ann.
Survivors include a son, Frank Anzulevich Jr., of Bellefonte, and nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a three-day-old son, John; a brother, Anthony Naujunas; three sisters, Mary B. News, Alma Alberta Powell and Regina DiEmidio; a nephew, Jackie; a great niece, Tammy, and a great-great nephew, Russell.
ANZULEVICH — Aldona Anzulevich, 82, a former resident of Poplar Street, Kulpmont. A private funeral service and burial will be held at the convenience of the family. C.J. Lucas Funeral Home Inc., 1053 Chestnut Street, Kulpmont, C.J. Lucas, supervisor, is in charge of arrangements.
