MOUNT CARMEL — Albert Lotis Jr., 59, of 137 West Ave., died Tuesday, June 3, 2014, at home.

He was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., April 7, 1955, a son of the late Albert and Abby (Burger) Lotis Sr. He lived in Brooklyn until 1982 when he moved to Mount Carmel.

He attended Fort Hamilton High School in Brooklyn.

He was employed as a private contractor.

Albert was a member of Divine Redeemer Church and enjoyed woodworking and canning.

Survivors include three children, Christina Lotis, of Illinois, Albert Lotis, of Bath, and Amanda Lotis, of Mount Carmel; three grandchildren; two sisters, Patricia Fabisiak, of Mount Carmel, and Lilly Ortiz, with whom he resided, and several nieces and nephews.


LOTIS — Albert Lotis Jr., 59, of 137 West Ave., Mount Carmel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at Divine Redeemer Church, 300 West Ave., Mount Carmel, with the Rev. Martin O. Moran III as celebrant. Burial will be held at a later date in All Saints Cemetery, Bear Gap. Viewing will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday and from 9 to 9:45 a.m. Saturday at the C.J. Lucas Funeral Home Inc., Mount Carmel, C.J. Lucas IV, supervisor. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the C.J. Lucas Funeral Home Inc., 27 N.
