ARISTES — Betty "Mac" Sulick, 88, of 208 Center St., passed away Monday, June 16, 2014, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, surrounded by her family.

She was born Sept. 13, 1925, in Ashland, a daughter of the late Walter and Katie (Weller) Snyder. She was a lifelong resident of Aristes.

Betty was a 1943 graduate of Conyngham Township High School.

On March 10, 1945, she married the late "Elmer" Vladimir Sulick, who preceded her in death April 17, 2004.

She worked as a seamstress in various dress factories in the area, last working for the Oxford Dress Co.

She was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Aristes and Senior Action Center, Wilburton. She enjoyed her home.

Surviving are two sons, John V. Sulick, of Plano, Texas, and Mark S. Sulick, of Aristes; three grandchildren, Kelley L. Sulick, of Millville, Sherry Buggy, of Trevorton Road, and Devon Sulick, of Aristes, and a great-grandson, Marshall Buggy.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Carol E. Madera, and a sister, Ivy Vagasky.
