KULPMONT — Rosalie A. Kuzo, 70, of 734 Scott St., passed away Wednesday, June 18, 2014, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

She was born Sept. 7, 1943, in Shamokin Hospital, a daughter of the late Frank and Josephine (Wasilewski) Wocjiewoski. Rosalie spent most of her life in Kulpmont.

She was a 1961 graduate of Kulpmont High School.

On Aug. 10, 1963, in SS Peter and Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church, she married Joseph G. Kuzo, who survives.

Rosalie was last employed by The Bon-Ton in Frackville. She previously worked for the former St. Mary's School, the Evening Star Newspaper in Washington, D.C., and for State of Pennsylvania.

Rosalie was a member of SS Peter and Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church.

She was formerly involved with the Kulpmont Football and Baseball Association and was involved with the Kulpmont Alumni Association.

In addition to her husband, Joseph, she is survived by a son, Kevin Kuzo, of Kulpmont; a daughter, Melissa Wilson, of Fleetwood; three grandchildren, Jason, Leah and Koryn Wilson; a brother, Francis Wocjiewoski, of Kulpmont; a sister, Marie Picarella and her husband, Frank, of Loretta, and three nephews.

KUZO — Rosalie A. Kuzo, 70, of 734 Scott St., Kulpmont. Divine liturgy will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday at SS Peter and Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church, 131 N. Beech St., Mount Carmel, with the Very Rev. Archpriest Michael Hutsko as celebrant. Burial will be in SS Peter and Paul Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery, Mount Carmel Township. Viewing will be held from 8 to 10:30 a.m. Monday with panahyda at 10 a.m. at the C.J. Lucas Funeral Home Inc., 1053 Chestnut St., Kulpmont, C.J. Lucas, supervisor.
